He comes off as rather generic and "typeless" to me.
Yes, but I hate all the adds and side junk that is added to what is essentially a Wikipedia resource. And I always imagined that he leaned towards being an LSE.

He carries himself like a sort of generic xSTj, but he seems Ti > Te to me.
I would think that his archetype as the "boy scout" X-Men would place him within the realm of the LSE.

The archetype "boy scout" is Captain America, not Cyclops imo.

By the way - taking as frame the period up to 1993, when I all but stopped reading comics - I don't think I found any of the Marvel heroes to be role models as individuals, as to their characters.
Probably the exception, to me, is Dr. Strange, and it's perhaps significant that he was created by Steve Ditko, rather than Stan Lee, who I think is an ESFj. Perhaps that says something about Ditko's type.
I don't really like Cyclops too. I prefer Jean Gray, Wolverine and Professor X.
Didn't like the movie cyclops, and barely paid attention to the comic one. I was more interested in other characters...
