It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.-Mark Twain
You can't wake a person who is pretending to be asleep.
Not everything fits but my general impression is of an ENTj.

Also, this part: "He much values human life: a woman of this type, if having to choose the lesser evil, will rather choose to become a single mother than to make an abortion."
I KNOW my mom would have had an abortion because I remember when I was a teenager her telling me that if I ever got pregnant "out of wedlock" that I should have an abortion so no one would ever know about it. What people think about her is a very very big deal.

Well, perhaps others will disagree. But I think that it is misleading to look at specific details in profiles.
My general impression was of a clearly xNTj person. She could be INTj but I thought ENTj would fit her better.
I thought some of what you say would suggest ESTj, but on the whole she seems intuitive rather than sensing.
I understand the "optimistic" bit of ENTjs as having a belief in opportunities rather than being always in an optimistic mood.
The thing with abortion is too specific and in my opinion meaningless.

Upon reading some more about them, and looking at the Gamma Quadra discussions about ENTJ, I think you might be right.

Your Mom sounds more ESTj than ENTj to me. Judging restaurants? With my useless ? I think everything tastes good...
BTW, I might be not always optimistic, but I'm more optimistic than most people. You cannot judge in absolute terms. Take a rather long interval of time, and see how the sum of all optimistic moments is much higher than the sum of all "bad" moments.

FDG, it might be a different kind of PoLR. I like to say that I eat everything, but actually I'm rather picky about my food. Everything tastes good, but if something tastes even a little bit funny, I'll avoid it at all costs. I can't swallow food that's even a little bit "wrong". Nicky's mother might just have that end of the Si extreme.Originally Posted by FDG
You can't see the difference between comfort and lack of it, I can't handle lack of comfort. I can even see why it's logical for male- ENTjs to be on one side of Si-extreme and female-ENTjs to be on the other side.

That is exactly what I meant when I said that some of what Nicky said suggested ESTj.Originally Posted by FDG
However, the very strong inclination for science fiction, the given up of religion, and desire to be an actress/director made me think she was more likely intuitive than sensor. IMO this is more important than the restaurant thing.

Well I didn't say she was a very good judge of restaurants. LOL. Actually she doesn't make much sense when she does it. One week some restaurant will be the best place she'd ever eaten, and the next week she'll decide it's awful and she'll never go back again. It's hilarious.
