This type sees the world a collection of viewpoints, each with their own unique
implications for the future. Some viewpoints are seen by this type as offering
better futures than others. For this reason, the type will always adopt the
viewpoint most suitable to the forseeable future, and will insist that others
do the same. In practice, this viewpoint is one of "common sense", the viewpoint
most likely to be shared by others in the same situation as the ENFj.

As time wears on, human needs change. The limits of common sense thought
invariably bring about imbalances of energy which culminate in human
needs. The ENFj will forge relationships in service to these needs. Their
relationships are tentative and once a relationship is of no further use they
will dissolve it in favor of a more satisfying opportunity. Society recognizes
the role of the ENFj in the onset of these needs and demands that the ENFj do
their part to fill them. This is a problem if their relational environment is
poor, in which case their inability to fill these needs is a constant source of
stress and criticism. Depending on the level of their contribution to society's
needs, they may or may not receive assistance in the fulfillment of their own.

Once their duties of need have been sufficiently fulfilled, the stage is set for
the ENFj to begin considering their public agenda. This is invariably implemented
by means of a theory that seems to them to make sense, with the intended goal
of raising the efficiency or endurance of those around them. This theory is
always one of prioritization: remove the obstacles to effective energy flow,
and output will rise. The means of this prioritization is always based in
something vague, uncertain, and tenuous. As knowledge of this means changes,
so does the prioritization become more appropriate to the world outside the
ENFj.

The attempt to "better" society by the facilitation of force will be met with
a success level that reflects the harmony of the facilitation with society's
intentions. The question now is why the facilitation has floundered, and in the
pursuit of this understanding the individual draws first on their own self
knowledge, and drawing on this flame of internal passion they bring into being
an abundance of feelings that could. From these feelings there can be discerned
an experience which connects them into one create whole, a "common sense". In the
ideal case the ENFj acheives a greater understanding of what they had previously
taken for granted: the experience of common sense. However, their level of
understanding is no better than that which is offered. If they are unprepared for
the experience of a feeling then they will act so as to repress its appearance
to their eyes, diminishing the scope of their observations into something less
extraordinary, but more manageable to their self-image.
