He seems more passive aggressive, rather than acting like an Se type.

No one else is interested in the show?

Charles in this movie seems like a quintessential INFj.

I found it boring, to be honest.

I'm not very set on any types but here's my list:

    Charles Xavier: EII>IEE=EIE
    Erik Lehnsherr / Magneto: LSI
    Sebastian Shaw: No opinion
    Moira MacTaggert: No opinion
    Raven / Mystique: IEI=SEI
    Emma Frost: ESI=LSI
    Hank McCoy / Beast: LII

It was the best one out of the X-Men instalment, imo.

INFj seems probable as well. The relationship between Xavier and Magneto is such that they got along pretty well and initially had a positive working relationship in terms of their goal to gather all the mutants to protect and bring out the potential in them.

I think so too. Was debating between ESI and EII, but near the end the Ne>Se was rather obvious

Considering the relationships and the history, can someone explain why Magneto is chosen as an LSI?
    Ceci n'est pas une eii.

I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Do fictional characters need to make Socionics sense though?

Not that I think he's definitely Ne PoLR (Se/Ni at the very least); I slightly leaned towards ESI while watching it since I felt he and Charles did seem to share a lot of similarities, and I sensed that Erik was more motivated by vengeance more than a grande ideology (the latter progressed later, which made me question Beta)
I'll have to watch it again to pick up on things...

I just saw this. The original was way better in my opinion. Better acting, filming, style, plot, etc. It's typical for things these days to have higher public approval though, ie. "Inception," which wasn't a bad movie, but certainly not an 8.9/10. Hype, hype, hype.

Edit: but as far as the OP typings, I tend to agree. Not completely sure about Magneto but Beta sounds right.

Hank McCoy reminds me of my younger self, tbh... not the Beast part of course.

Thank you for assigning typing tasks to the people in this forum, without your requests there was an imminent threat of running out of activity

EIE-Ni seems a good choice to me for Professor X
