Yeah, what's up with ENTp constantly having to comment on other people's supposed dumbness? ENTps just love to be misunderstood, to have enemies, to be called crazy and weird and feel as if they are the only ones who understand the grand scheme of things.

It's quite lovable because they are, ehm, rather transparent...

Wtf? Have you _ever_ seen a "playful" INTp, let alone an INTp who "likes to push buttons"?

To be honest, I do not think that this description is worth trying to attribute to any type ... sounds way too immature, like the person is a pre-teen or something.

RMcNew is one of the people who know the most about socionics on here, and probably west of the Russian border overall. He's typed the most people correctly of any person not employed in the field, and he's the only person here who has managed to make a test worth the time used to take. It also happens to be one of the longest tests on record.
Feel free to flame him, as long as it's on your own risk  .

No offense to McNew, but what do you mean he typed the most people correctly? Do you mean by test? Or observation?

(And don't get Waddlesworth started on McNew's knowledge of socionics. )

Uh, yeah, I was going to take issue w/ that too, Rocky. I don't see how anyone can claim type anyone correctly, since there's no way to prove it.

Mostly testing, though sometimes through observation usually by very sketchy descriptions. He has had quite a bit of experience, it seems. He also has most of the criteria and descriptions memorized. This makes him a prime typer.

Also, the correctly part... I just assumed that when the subjects don't object, the typings are mostly accurate.

.. I agree, just ignore that...

And when I saw that, I mean that most of us around here are on more of a "check and balance" system; we have to be watching out for what others say just in case.

I am not going to overreact to what some of you have been saying about me, but I am not one to believe that there is honestly such a thing as a professional when it comes to something like "socionics." I would say that a great deal of information available is meerly a matter of opinion or various interpretations, including V.I., typing, etc. ...

As far as official information goes or perceived authorities go, I do not even think there are any and if there supposedly are, I would not strictly follow them anyways. Though, I would consider anyone based as having a natural advantage, as most psychological theories are based and easily grasped by those types.

i dont pretend to know what has been said in the past

its just so weird to hear someone use psychological terms to describe who best understands a psychological theory. Interesting.

Don't sweat it rmcnew. Socionics is just your latest obsession. You're up to your ears in socionics. Do you think of this and that about socionics day and night, with all different kinds of applications?

I get really into things, too. I'll get totally obsessed for say six months to a year. Then I'm done with the topic. Totally done. It's part of my world understanding in a complete and holistic way, and I'm on to something else to augment my understanding of reality.

It's an intense and exciting way to live . . . too bad not everyone can appreciate it!
