Default Spreading items around the house/workspace/etc.

A person in my surroundings has a habit of doing this and it irks me to no end!

    Is it a characteristic of...

    ALL Ej types?

    Si based Ej types?

    Other...?

Girls who want to get fucked.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Straddling items? What are you talking about?

Obviously it has nothing to do with socionics.
Posts I wrote in the past contain less nuance.

Hmm, even for me, that came off as more insidiously moralistic and righteous than intended.

Better luck next time on the gangbang joke, then.

No, I just watched a lot of porn as a kid and know how gangbangs start, that just wasn't it.

Sitting backwards on a chair straddling it is supposed to mean that someone has mixed feelings about the people or conversation. Or something like that.

I meant to say something along the lines of 'spreading around'.

Did you plan this? Mention straddling first, then change it to "spreading"?

Why would I plan such a thing? I don't follow you.

Any awkward connotations were unintentional. Simply a mistake.

Give people an excuse to misinterpret or take things sexually and they usually will (especially us Americans). No big deal.

I'm not sure really, because I spread my stuff everywhere....

discojoe used to complain when i'd leave my things in his room, especially if i left my watch because it would tick when he was tyring to sleep >.<

my dad would get pissed when i had all my things in every room of the house

dj's parents don't every complain, but i occupy the 3 extra bedrooms in the house. i felt that was unfair and i was stupid for doing it so i cleaned all three rooms and went back to the one room i started out in....but it didn't work for long.....>.<

Personally, I try to avoid this a much a possible. I like to be ascetic and spartan in terms of what I have - functionality to the max. However, I am very conscious of style, and if things look sloppy or something is not well done, this displeases me. But in general, order is appealing, and having things quick and accessible - this I appreciate.

It may somewhat be a matter of rationality.... but more likely unrelated. ISTps I know are very 'organized', but it is related to having things out of the way, and a sense of cleanness and uncluttered-ness. ESFjs can be either way, Si types being more disorganized. INTjs, depends. ISFp, seem not very organized, unless they are putting effort consistently into "decorating", etc. But it may be more of an irrational "this is what I am focusing on right now" stage sort of thing.

within my space shit is scattered all over. I try to clean it every now and then but it never lasts more than a day before it goes back to scattered shit all over. I'm a pretty messy person. I try to keep it in line in other peoples spaces since I know most of them don't appreciate it (and it makes me nervous and uncomfortable when people start cleaning around me). It works out great around my friend/ex since she's all OCD and if she doesn't have stuff to clean up she'll start picking or do random stuff like Xing out calenders or other stuff that's just busy OCD stuff that I don't get. When we're together I get to be messy me and she gets to be OCD clean freak her and everybody's satisfied.

I do this quite a bit - it could be seen as laziness or messiness, but I prefer 'easy access'.

And I never really thought about it until one of my roommates called me out on it, but sometimes I will passively leave something out for visitors/roommates to see (like a book or CD).

Absolutely. I get really nervous when my husband starts cleaning up/putting things away because then I don't know where to find my stuff when I need it. I have to have everything out in front of me because it serves as a reminder of what I'm supposed to do or whatever. We sometimes clash over this issue. His method of putting things away is to stash everything in a drawer or cabinet which, to my mind, isn't any better than just leaving it out!

No, my roommates confiscated my gay porn.

Sometimes I kinda "move in" to different spots around the house when I'm living at home. If I'm watching TV a lot over the course of a couple of days, I'll leave stuff sitting around in the family room like my slippers or my phone or computer; if I'm using the internet a lot I'll leave drinks or glasses or food near where the internet jack is...One time I moved like half my appliances to the library because I was on the computer almost the time for like a week straight, so my phone charger was there, my wallet, my external hard drive, my shoes, my notebook, my sunglasses...My mom came through one day and was like "Oh, so you're moving down here now, are you?"
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

an object will always be physical, what you do with it doesn't have to be using the function of Se. Did you mean an Se person willfully does this as a claim to territory?

Personally i am a known speader. I am quite embarrased by the state of my physical affairs and rarely allow people to see my apartment.

and here, i just don't understand why george needs me to be IxFp so bad for him. he likes to pretend he knows me when he actually only started speakign to me online in a time period in which I was incredibly sick and even more incredibly socially isolated. how he can think that was me "happy" is amazing to me.

Wait, it sort of seems like you are relating "being depressed" to being an introverted type... I had a time where I thought that too. I got rid of a lot of social anxiety and suddenly, I felt I was extroverted. But it was not the real case. I am truly at heart, an introvert and it has taken me time to realize this and the fact that I can be happy AND be introverted. I know you know this, but it just looks like you are trying to be a type you are not... where can you justify that you are SEE? I'm sorry, but I don't SEE it.

I don't think putting effort into proving it to people is in my best interest.

That's probably correct. You have to admit, though, it's a rational response to be skeptical any time a person 'changes' type (which is what I assume has happened). Some posters won't comment on it, but I would be surprised if an ENTp didn't - especially one it sounds like you know. Regardless of whatever type you may or may not be, it's a PR battle, and a defensive response is never going to work in your favour. The smartest type changers are those who seed their posts with enough BS and wait for other posters to come to the desired conclusion.
