Do INFps think in verse? It seems like descriptions of INFps always include poetry or lyrics.

I have to say I can't seem to find another INFp like me.

A day in my life goes something like this . . .

    Could you?

    Would you?

    YOU WILL!

    F'in lazy bastards!

    Because I said so!

If you want to be part of my world here are the rules. Break one and you're outta here!

    Goodbye.

I don't at all. Can't stand poetry and suck at it. Aren't INFp's supposed to be musically inclined too? I don't have a musical bone in my body. Took three years of forced paino lessons as a kid but can't play a note now. Rarely listen to music but have a fantasy that I am the world's best violinist . . . ??????

I was wondering where you all went off to. It was getting pretty lonely - I was beginning to think all the INFps had up and left. I think in a lot of ways: verse, poetic prose, expletives, and (my favorite) music. The worst, though, is when I have my fifth-grade teacher stuck in my head.

INFps are pretty rare around these parts. In fact, I haven't met one for months. ESTps are pretty rare, too! It's lonely here. Someone come take me away from this Hell of Non-Duality!

I personally do quite a bit...Since my feelings and thoughts stemming from my Ni is confusing enough to state verbally or with normal written communication, poetry enables me to convey that which I feel fluidly while helping my Fe's ugly mug be clear in the photo(I'm getting metaphorical almost again...yikes...see what I mean?). So I would say yeah, we are like that...well...maybe not in thinking verse as much as conveying thoughts in verse...at least for this INFp, anyways...
That was put the best way possible.

@implied: I have started playing (just learning) Cone's cello while he's at college. I am determined. I love Mannheim Steamroller because of their use of violins. Thanks for the advice!

Not to brag myself up but one for the INFp's. I have few friends but the ones I have are tried and true. I don't put up with nonsense or disrespect from anyone and they respect me for it. Actually at times I get sot out or I get introduced by my friends as a wacky, very funny, great person. Blows me away. I guess we are great!

    Move over ESFp's!

i mean yeah a little bit of formal guidance is nice but i think that infps especially could do well with this stuff. the key, at least for me, was actually a lot of self-teaching and just plain old practice because i loved it. like i would hear some song i liked and then just learn to finger it out pretty easily because i have that internal radio going on in my head all fucking day long.

also i snapped a string on my violin the other day (big humidity changes here + hadn't picked it up in a while) so i got that nice reward of going and buying some d'addario helicore strings. good god they are heaven!
ah violin is so cool, i played brushed drums for my friends project(sort of folky acoustic jams + a classical violinist), i learned to love the tone of that instrument, it sounded especially good on this bluesy swing number we did. do you have any favorite recordings you could reccomend that emphasize the violin?

I know... why the fuck does that always happen. Damnit.

lol, that was a pretty good depiction of a day in the life of an INFP.

thanx to Harry Rear-end for the compliment
