Default Duality Frequency in Succesful Marriages

How frequent is duality in successful marriages? Are there more dual marriage relationships than not?

    i love this question.

    let's see...my parents are duals estj/infj and they've been married 45 years.

my boyfriend was in a 30 year marriage, activity infp/istj.

my aunt and uncle, estj/istp, mirror, married 45 years.

my other aunt and uncle infp/estp, dual married until he died 10 years ago, about 35 years.

haven't typed other long lasting marriages. but seriously this is a great question, the answers to which would really start to answer the question of socionics validity.

Not sure if there are more dual marriages for not.
My parents are duals, esfj, intj.
But most of my relatives seems to be either mirrors, activity or semi-duals, with the exception of a few.

IME, it's frequent enough to show that they do work out, but not the majority...?

according to some articles I've read on the internet, containing one of Augusta, was the percentage 30% to 45%.

They seem to high if you ask me. I know few couples who are duals.

My guess is that the percentage is 10%.

Because although duality has the biggest chance of succes, it is the hardest to find.

Most successful couples I know are in-quadra couples. But a lot of them are mirrors or activity.

long term couples I know are supervisory, and my parents who are conflictors.

I think some dual pairs can meet each other quite easily.

And I know one other couple that is either superego or dual.. not sure.

My parents are Look a Likes and have a very strong marriage, 20 years give or take a few. They have never truly fought seriously in 10+ years and when they do argue it is very easily resolved, and almost humorous in my eyes. A very stable, if seeming to lack true "passion" marriage.

I know another friends' parents who are Identicals, very good marriage. My grandparents I believe are In-quadra, most likely Dual or Mirror.

Other than that, I can't really comment.

I've had two unsuccessful marriages, one to an Alpha and the other a Delta.

I dont know how this could be true for me.
    My mom= ESFJ

I tend to be disgusted by this personality type....I think it is personal due to not getting along with her AT ALL.
She was always dismayed by me, and still to this day calls me boring.

Maybe she ruined what could have been my Knight and Shining Armor....

My parents are ENTj and ENFj and have been married for over 40 years, however I wouldn't call their marriage successful. I don't know if length of time people are together is a good measure of success.

My husband is my dual, and things are going quite well. My last two husbands were INTj and ESTj, and neither of those relationships was good. The INTj was passive and distant, and the ESTj was controlling and boring (no intellectual stimulation).

Agreed, I'd say factors like harmony, mutual enjoyment and happiness are better indicators.
