I'm not sure, to be honest -- I miss the discussions. Can you point me towards the threads discussing your type? Sorry, I've not really followed everything here lately.

It's not a matter of whether or not you're "accepted" in Gamma. It's a matter of whether or not you're a Fi or Se type. And I really cannot see it.

Did you see the thread about emotional expressiveness in INFps? It's in General Discussion.

    That does make ISFj unlikely.

Yup, I read it. I don't think I'm an emotionally expressive person. According to my ISFp friends, I sound aggressive and instructional when I'm passionate about a subject I'm interested in, but nearly monotonous when talking about day-to-day affairs. That probably speaks against or .

I definitely have reasons for considering ISFj, rather than changing my type based on my whims and fancies. I will elaborate further after work.

    Yeah, more details please.

After reading the functional descriptions of ISFj, I feel that I identify a lot with them, such as the ones under wikisocion (ISFj descriptions) and socioscope (ESI descriptions). Moreover, it has been pointed out to me quite often that my posts reflect a much stronger preference for rather than . In fact, there isn't any post which shows or -seeking attitude or behavior so far.

For what it is worth, I do not get much Ne from INFjs. But then again, for me, when I think of Ne, I have been thinking of "alpha Ne" for so long. Delta Ne may just be much different. Like, in my interactions with rockclimber (hardcore INFj), I do not feel much Ne in a direct sense, but in her beliefs and understandings, in terms of the Ne/Si axis, that is how I can notice it most. It is different from what I notice in terms of INTjs and ENTps.
Pre-2013 post are written with incomplete understanding.

Hmm, I know what you mean about INFjs (at least here) seeming less focused on Ne than INTjs. Although maybe it's that we have more INFj-Fis and INTj-Nes than vice-versa.

But if it isn't, do you think that as far as Ne-Si goes, Alpha focuses more on Ne and Delta focuses more on Si? I don't mean to say that the Delta NFs would have weaker Ne than the Alpha NTs, or the Alpha SFs weaker Si than the Delta STs, but I'm talking about outwardness. It seems like Alpha is associated most with working with inventions, with possibilities, and Delta with comfort and peacefulness. Isn't that Ne and Si?

    Just a thought.

I know these ESTps who hate each other. Hate each guts. And they seem to irritate each other by challenging each other more all the time. Umm. They disagree with each other's believes and values. This seemed to spark their quarrels.
I think it depends on the reason why you dislike someone.

But what does that have to do with eunice?
Someone posted the link to the thread about her saying simon is mean. And simon is ISFj?
I was just trying to point out that identicals don't have to like each other.

quadra values. eunice said several times, in different places, which I quoted, how she valued contribution to society as a whole as being the most important judge of a person and their character. and I said:

From my understanding and experience, ISFjs are much more likely to take a view of my family/friends against the rest of the world if crisis came. The altruistic whole-group > you and yours is contrary to ISFj and gamma in my understanding. However, everyone should pull their own weight, and will be expected to, and not given lenience just because they are close to you
Yes. i agree with that. Nvm. I misunderstood, was thinking of something else.

Anyway, i was always under the impression that eunice is from the Si quadras. She seems to value Si IMO.

It depends. I can feel unconfident about it due to my weak . For instance, I don't consider myself a natural-born athlete and I always feel uncomfortable during P.E. (Physical Ed.) classes back then because I'm conscious about showing my inability to others and worry unnecessarily that I will be rejected by my classmates. I also took longer time than others to familiarize myself with activities as well eg. learning musical instruments, drawing (I can't draw!), sports, sewing, cooking, dress well, putting on makeup, learning to drive etc. To me, everyone else seems to be very confident about fulfilling basic wants and needs, and yet I'm struggling with something that is supposed to be human nature.

EDIT: I just realized what I had written speaks against types, including ISFj. Oh well.

Most of those are only superficially related to Si. Many ISFps I know dislike putting on makeup or consider themselves bad at it. Si is more about knowing how to keep yourself in a psychologically healthy, balanced state. If you push yourself to do unhealthy things because you feel like you have to (or more importantly, if you do this without being fully aware why exactly it is unhealthy), then INxj is more likely.

Yes. It's not an essential part of Si.

Actually, I think Si types, especially Si dominants, prefer to go au naturel when it comes to make-up. It's more of an Se thing, actually.

i'd like to answer this. when i'm really sad, i talk to my friends and get input. i listen to music and sing along to it. great soulful music sung by female singers with an alto/mezzo soprano voice ranges. i talk out loud to myself. i execute soul searches and get information that gives me a different perspective.
    same thing, i add dancing
i would dance. but it'd be too scary. lol i'd look like elaine.
    feeling better > looking good
A basic psychological fact - dancing spontaneously makes you feel good - is very obvious to a type with strong Si, but an intuitive type is not so sure. That's Si.

In the case of Si dominants, yes. But I agree with what implied seemed to be implying -- they may prefer to go without make-up, but I don't think it's typical of ISFps at all to consider themselves bad at it.
