Which types do you think all-rounders typically are? The ones whom I have met IRL are either ESTjs or ENTjs 'cos they seem to be good at everything they lay their hands on. I'm not sure if all-roundedness got to do with leading though.

Extroverts. ExTx in particular, I would say.
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...
Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
Whilst our laughter echoed,
Under cerulean skies...

If you're in this forum to learn something, be careful. Lots of misplaced toxicity.

In the Enneagram community, we call them 3s.
Are you sure? The ENTj is lacking aesthetically, and I've read in some descriptions that they also have poor self-discipline.Originally Posted by eunice
I agree that ESTj would be held in high esteem by friends, family and colleagues. They put a lot of hard work into getting what they want (or what others want them to get). They are conservative by nature, and so easily maintain respect from powerful traditionalists. They do what they're told, and don't ask questions. They're practical-minded, and follow procedure very well. Perfect military figures. Capacity for unfounded theories and dreamy idealism is unnecessary in their eyes, and people don't mind that they're like this, because it's not a professional requisite.

In my experience, it is not so much a type thing but it depends on the amount of effort someone puts into developing a certain skill. At least I believe that is the main cause of well-roundedness anyway.

You're thinking of LSIs, probably more likely the Ti subtype.Originally Posted by Ezra

Some people may seem extremely well-rounded externally, but when you see how they live day to day, you find they are 'lopsided' just like everyone else. They just have a few hobbies or skills that give the appearance of "doing it all." To me SLIs often seem well-rounded, especially once you get to know them better. I am well-rounded externally, but one-sided day-to-day.
