Yeah ive seen that Bear Grylls. Not sure about his type. His shows are not bad. I heard that they are quite heavily faked and he has other survival experts on hand aswell though.

Not saying ENFj is wrong, but the vibe I get from him points away from it in my mind. He walks out relaxed, doesn't show much of a reaction by the crowd, analyzes Letterman's questions-bordering-criticisms on their logical merits. Call me a hack, but I would expect an EIE to be very energetic bouncy out on the stage waving to the crowd, cracking jokes, loud laughter, flashy clothing, feigning distress when being questioned about the show's authencity, fidgiting a lot.... etc.
If this dude really is ENFj, it just goes to show how flawed my perception of socionics really is.

Something I thought about Bear, is that he seems to know what he needs to do to survive..sure he's had training and what have you, but even then he has to deal with unknown situations in things that he does, or at least has done before being on TV. His ability to understand his body and the little nuances required to make slight corrections to keep himself in optimal health is something more akin to someone with strong Si. With him understanding his body in various environments and what's needed to keep it going, is something that's seen certainly in Si valuers, and more so ego Si. I don't really know his type too much but I think it seems there's maybe some Si around there with him.
I was thinking of a way to explain why I think he values Si and this is exactly what I had in mind.
