    Default Me

So lately, i've been reconsidering my 'type'. Have taken multiple tests and have been consistently getting a strong N. Mostly INTP/INFP. What gives? I dont think posting my picture AGAIN is going to help much as I don't believe in that anyway. The possibility of INFP is highly laughable.

Maybe I'm having an identity crisis as I can identify with every single one...opinions?

Are you looking at socionics types or MBTI types?

Do the Reinin Dichotomies or at least try to find one or two that you are sure of and you'll know more after that.

Take a look at Rick's descriptions of the four dichotomies. ISTps use goal-oriented () means to try to create a environment.

Fuck the tests, they barely work as the creator expected.

As electric said, don't rely on tests.

From your personality as what you tell from yourself here, even indirectly, I think ISTp or INTp are the only plausible types, with ISTp more likely. And yes forget INFp.

There is no way you have creative Fe.

You seem pretty clearly to be ISTp to me. I suppose INTp is possible but you seem pretty focused on from what you've said here.

It was less active when you decided you weren't INFj.
    Actually, I don't know.

Anyway, jessica... IxTp. Leaning more toward ISTp. I can't imagine you valuing Fe. Even less with Fe in ego block.

I think I was feeling rather emotional when I got INFP, ha. ISTP is really the only type I identify with the most. Not sure why i'm typing as something different each time...so yeah, ya still got a delta member ; )

You are like the ultimate manifestation of Si. I'm not sure about Fe vs Te but others seem more convinced of your Te so be it.

I can give you a hint:

Still. I'm not convinced about the Te. ISFps can seem pretty introverted despite the Fe. We'll see

ISTp seems to really fit, but some things you've said make me think you're quit adept at waving around your Fe to evoke the desired response.

I didn't have any particular type in mind... the only implication being type theory isn't as concrete as we credit it.

I disagree, she uses Fe clumsily. When she discussed personal feelings and issues that really get to her, she's much more effective. That is Fi.

How would you explain her recent comment on drama, something for which a Fe-dominant type is often credited? It sounds like the ability to know how to evoke the appropriate response.

I do not base my conclusions on that one comment regarding her self-perception when she did not even explain precisely what she meant with "drama"; I base my conclusions on what I observe here over some time, especially when she's not discussing her type on purpose.

    Hmm, fair enough.

My general approach is to take people at face value unless I have prior reason to suspect something else is going on (I don't think I'm familiar enough with J's posting to make that call).

I saw what she said about drama, and assuming she's an ISTp, she probably means that she gets bored sometimes and likes to quietly let off a hand grenade comment every so often and see how it's taken. My husband does this to me anyway - he tests the water with me every so often by saying something he KNOWS will piss me off, and I'll go off on him, and he'll think it's funny. If she's ISTp, that might be the kind of drama she likes. I've seen this talked about in some type descriptions but I can't remember which ones.

You are MORE than welcome to be my dual
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...
