Default Delta videos

I just happened to come across a youtube video of a self-introduction of three filmmakers who were made popular by the MVs and short films they had made while in college.

A very Delta (and probably a bit of Alpha) video imo.

    Philip: ESTj subtype
    Wesley: ENFp subtype
    Ted: ISTp subtype

    What do you think?

Yeah, those were funny. I don't know much of anything about Socionics, but your labeling of "Ted" as ISTp seems about right, as I act pretty much the same way.

They must be crazy to move from San Diego to Los Angeles, though. It's always 10-15 degrees hotter in the Los Angeles area than it is in the San Diego area. It's terrible.

Are you certain you are not INFj eunice?

The videos are nice. It makes me wonder how I would act in a video like that.

On a second thought, maybe ESFj seems more likely for him.

He seems to be always smiling, laughing, making an effort to show exaggerated to provide comic relief, likes dancing (I have never seen an ESTj so interested in dancing before), and clowning around while filming. It is unlikely to see an ESTj doing all these imo.

    Examples:
A message from Wong Fu: Returning from tour

    "Give and Take" Bloopers

^If only the ESTjs I have known IRL can be this fun and interesting.

But it would be more likely if he was an - subtype ESTj, right?

Seriously, I don't think those are good arguments against ESTj. (Not saying he is necessarily one thou)

I see. It would be cool if Philip (guy in the video) is an ESTj. At least there is some motivation for me to know that there are some ESTjs who are like him as well.

I'm most certain about Wesley's type and it is obvious that he values , but I'm not very sure about Ted and Philip. Ted appears Serious>Merry. Philip seems like some type, specifically ESFj since he seems to be very focused on creating a fun and positive mood to bring up the atmosphere in their videos.

Anyway, I was checking out their profiles in their official website Wong Fu Productions and under Ted's profile there was a very description which also indicated weak and a preference for Alpha/Delta attitudes as well:
    Quote Originally Posted by Ted

Even his hobbies (photography, video games and mountain biking) are rather -oriented.

Therefore, ISTp is a probable type for Ted.

Based on the videos and in regards to intertype relations, it is likely that Wesley benefits from Philip, whereas Ted is supervised by him. In the first video of this thread, Ted seems to be rather bothered by Philip who kept clowning around during their self-introduction but he didn't choose or bother to speak up about it. On the other hand, Wesley was more straightforward in terms of complaining about Philip's behaviour before he finally gave in and joined in the fun.

    What do you suggest, UDP?

On the other hand, I'm curious to know whether you see Philip as your dual. I have some difficulties differentiating ESTj subtype who knows how to joke around and have fun, and ESFjs in general.

I have known an ESE to act like that somewhat, yes. ESTj, I am not sure - the videos (apparently) are meant to be a comedy act anyways, so it is not necessarily how they act naturally. (Or is it?)

I would not necessarily expect an ESTj to appear so lighthearted all the time.

To me they seemed Delta. ISTP, INFJ, ENFP.

Interesting. The people remind me of people I know... Phillip reminds me of one of my friends that I thought might be ENTj, but he seemed a little playful for one. Definitely Te-dominant though. ESTj-Si could make sense for him. Ted reminds me of one of my best friends, but I really thought him to be ISFp or INFp, not ISTp. He reminds me a little of my ISTp friend too, but not as much. I think it would have been funnier if it hadn't been so obviously scripted, though.
