Default Do ISFjs prefer old-fashioned clothing?

Some ISFJ have this liking for old fashioned ugly clothes that cover their (fat in this case) asses.

    Is this type related?
Well I am back. How's everyone? Don't have as much time now, but glad to see some of the old gang are still here.

Just because your blow-up doll doesn't leave the house without you dragging it outside against it's accord doesn't mean that it's ISFj.

I don't quite see how this is related to the topic? I am being honest. I don't mind digs.

    What on earth?
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

Actually, *all* of the ISFj's I know/noticed are extremely attractive dressers. The style they dress in isn't set in stone, but attractiveness in style is something I almost expect in them now.

The ISFj neighbor here always dresses conservatively, and yet, wears clothing that look elegant and show off her features now and then. She takes excellent care of herself. But in absolutely no way is her sense of fashion poor or outdated. Probably the best dressed and best kept individual on the block.

That is true for some ISFJs no doubt, but I don't think that they dress sexy. I guess it depends on the cultural context, but IMO they tend to be formalistic. I had to push my ISFj ex to get out of her jeans and wear a miniskirt once in a while.

It is related to culture, and also to what a person likes to wear.

Two ISFjs females I know for example. One loves to dress in skirts and dresses, while the other hates skirts. I don't know about dresses. She is much more about jeans. Anyway, it doesn't change the fact that they both dress very stylishly.

But their clothes are sort of like a uniform, as if they are advertising clothes for a company. They can be stylish for sure, many of them are. I am not sure what it is that makes some of them dress very stylishly and others also stylishly but froma different style I guess. Iguess they follow some dressing code of the cultures where they come from.

maybe you should have just pushed her out of her jeans and then remain at home

Anyway it depends. There are fashion conscious ISFjs and non-fashion-conscious ISFjs. Like most other types. The 2nd type usually dresses more freely and cares less about the impression made on others; obviously a much more respectable position, imho, than dressing to impress, which I personally find gross.

yeah, i fucking hate them honestly and i think i ever have kids and they grow up to be make-up/fashion obsessed it'll be like a litmus test as to whether i've done an okay job.

also UDP and Dioklecian are sounding like the sorts of fellows who have never dealt with a pregnancy scare or any such thing, so i think they're forgiveable hah. what's up worthy purposes and big goals!

It will only work as long as you know how to influence someone's personality type development.

I'm too sensitive about my appearance to knowingly wear ugly clothing. I consider physical appearance to be an important part of self-respect and personal discipline (for me). I'm not that anal about it, but it gets to me.

Rofl. I'm the complete opposite, but I know that my ISFj girlfriend gets frustrated with me being that way. I don't care how I look, as long as I don't look unhygienic.
