I think I might be an ethical type but I cant make sense of the descriptions Ive read so far. I identified with parts of both. Implied, what the difference between ethical and intuitives subtypes in your own words?

They are my favorite extroverts, right after ENFjs.

Ne is the loud and colorful subtype, like ESFp's. Fi is the subdued variety.

Wow i actually identify with the Intuitive description a lot more. The problem is though my social life is pretty dismal at the moment. When i inevitably get back on the train of going out and meeting people its likely i will turn more into ethical.

Now that i think about it i have always been more like the intuitive. Im more reserved and thoughtful but quieter. I also seem a little harsher and less innocent than the Fi Subtype.

Other type seems to think less and interact more.

Seems to be the other way around strangely. I would have thought the Ne subtype would have been more outgoing too..

No wonder im confused. By this one im more ethical. Subtypes blow chunks!!1!one!

    Huxley (ENFP)

    Adviser is terminal (intuitive)
(reporting - from the Eng. reporter)

Very sociable, spirited, mobile person. The initiator of many matters; however, is characterized by large restlessness and changeability. Man very creative, but is scattered and not disciplined. It is capable to splash out its dissatisfaction, also, to the authorities, it is not considered the subordination. Outwardly - it more frequently has complete rounded forms. In the clothing it can be demonstrative, bright sometimes even loud.

    Adviser is initial (ethical)
(adviser - from the Eng. adviser)

It sees in the people the concealed gravities and attachments, prefers to work on the short psychological distance (in contrast to the terminal). It loves to give advice, it gravitates towards to the psychoanalysis, in this case counts on manifestation in the people of their positive qualities. It can postoyat' for others, defending their interests, for itself to postoyat' difficultly. Is outwardly more frequently thin izyashchen. In the clothing prefers the free cut, soft tones.

I remember the difference this way...

Ne is an extraverted function. It pushes Ne-activity out into the environment. More outward activity.

Fi is an introverted function. Fi-activity 'pulls in' from the environment. Less outward activity.

implied, my E/I and T/F are almost 50/50. I was more obviously NF when younger, more NT-ish now.

    My stacking:

    Enneagram: 3w4 so/sx/sp
    Ansir: Philosopher/Sage/Healer
    SLOAN: r|L|U|e|I

Cognitive functions develop through life experience and the challenges it brings. If you find yourself in a long-term situation that requires more Te or Ni, it develops to meet the demand (as much as it can), however painfully and slowly.
