    Default Colors and Functions

I'm sure lots of people have associations of different colors with different functions. What are yours?

    Here's mine:

    Fe: this color amber/yellow

    Si:

    Ne:

    Ti:

    Fi:

    Te:

    Se:

    Ni:

interesting topic. i too unconsciously associate a few functions with certain colors, although some of them are more distinct than others. for example, i have absolutely no difficulty in saying what Se and Ne are; the colors that those should be are very obvious. However, Ni, Si, and Fi are very unclear, and they can vary.

Ti - the white in is the way i think about it

    Te- the black in likewise

The remaining functions are less clear. I will refrain from assigning them a color, because if i do think about them with respect to a color it is probably variable, although they are all most effectively represented by light, faded colors (maybe Fi isn't; i have an extremely hard time associating Fi to a color at all).

Hmm.. although there seems to be slight variation on this, for me it tends to be:

    Te/Fe: Red
    Ti: Brown
    Fi: Green
    Se: Yellow
    Si: White
    Ne: Dark blue
Ni: Hard to say.. I think the most common image that's ever run through my brain when thinking about Ni was like a pale ball of light against a black backdrop.

    Ne: light blue
    Ni: dark blue
    Se: orange
    Si: brown
    Fe: bright red
    Fi: dark green
    Te: yellow
    Ti: black
But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, yet hated so much,
We hurt others and were hurt ourselves...

Yet even then, we ran like the wind,
    Whilst our laughter echoed,
    Under cerulean skies...

This thread appeals to perceptive types. I have a hard time dissociating the words that come to mind when I think of a type. And usually these words already have set colors. Such as- = Power, mobility, endurance, combat, etc.. all that means red to me. I can't even think of colors for the rest.

I can't say I have ever thought of the functions in color other than in black in white when thinking of the symbols for the functions. I cannot give any input to the question without lying; I simply don't associate colors, or shapes, or symbols with Model A functions. I can easily visualize applications of Socionics and functions, but I don't visualize the isolated concepts themselves.

Ne: Black and spreading, like spilled ink, or spiders hatching from an egg sack.
Ti: gray. Tall gray buildings of steel and glass. A city.
What perhaps is more interesting in some respects is the typological combinations created by these colors and images associated with functions.

Back in my MBTI/Kiersey days I took a very simple test which consisted in picking up a figure from 16 available. I must say, it gave me 'ENFP' on the first try, which impressed me.

Unfortunately, I lost the link. I'll try to find it. It would be interesting to see how accurate it is with more samples.

    Hi to all,

I am working slowly but surely in the development of colout theory in socionics. If anybody turly interested in the development of colour theory - please? join me and we shall think and experiment together or just compare results and think again. My aim is to understand the colde of the Lusher test - at some point later.

I have developed a small test, which I call colourtest. It does not determine th type as such but the "temperament" or the dominant psychic block. This is the test aimed to determine the dominance of psychic energy (Ego, Id, Superid and Superego) and the opposition (statics or dynamics, extraversion-introversion).

I am going to translate it and to put here with instructions on how to make interpretations. It is possible to suggest the type on colourtest but to be more precise I usethe second part of colourtest - just ordernary questions. It can be any questions on functions of your choice. I would be thankful if somebody will help me to intepret the results. I do not think that I can do it better than you can. It is simple, but you need remeber the basics about the meaning of blocs and oppositions.

And another thing - my creative work does not belong to classical socionics although it is rooted in it. You need to have an open mind. It is about energy of your psyche and there is lots and lots to discover yet.
