Leibniz is a man I can relate to and support in his positions. (although some of his theological arguments lack merit, in my opinion)
Nietzsche, on the other hand, while my gut feelings can relate to him, (same thing with Marx, but I'm an Anarcho-Capitalist, mind you) I don't fell that I have a rational basis to support him. I find he puts a highly dangerous amount of absoluteness in areas I put a lot of uncertainty into.
