I think what is most confusing for people about E8s is the difference between E8s that value Fe vs Fi, and also the difference in wings.

The classic E8, and most type descriptions of E8s, are of SLE 8w7s, who are boisterous and "larger than life" - maybe that's how they seem to Fe valuing people, but not to me. Those types to me seem like they are trying far too much to garner an appearance of domination or power or prestige....

It's really a very interesting concept. I think there is a lot to be said about quadra progression.

But I will offer this caveat: we must all refrain from the DBAG form of analysis. It doesn't do the socionics...

expressing my feelings if there is the slightest bit of confusion about relations with someone. Sometimes I want to believe, or feel confident about something, when I cannot.

Part of it is because, yes, I wonder often if people are just being nice and don't actually want me around - that is the flipside.
