The children took over for church service yesterday. Besides having the wisemen show up two years early and pigs in a Jewish stable, they changed one word in a well-known Christmas carol. "Why lies he in such mean estate, where ox and ass are feeding" became "...where ox and donkey are feeding." It's a synonym...no biggie. They didn't want the immature audience to fuss about it. But "donkey" has two syllables, and "ass" has one. The song sounded wrong....

ILIs have been associated with money. I have seen numerous jokes on the forum about ILI's desire for money. I will now give this a new angle.

I had several dollars with me. My ILI friend grabbed them, and I got them back. When I offered him a crumpled dollar, he crumpled it more and threw it on the floor.

When I have a message for the ILI, he doesn't want to read it. When I have a message for someone else, he does.
